NMRA Rodeo Contestants - FOR YOUR INFORMATION!!
* Enter 2 Times: In the Roughstock events its is up to the stock contractor whether to allow contestants to enter 2 times. The decision will be made approximately one half hour before entries close. It is the stock contractor's discretion as to when contestants take their 2nd ride - same day or different performance. All monies won will count toward event points, but only the highest dollar amount will count toward the all around award. It is the contestant's responsibility to call the CES and request the enter two time option. The CES will not contact contestants. All contestants do not have to take the option
* Enter 2 times: Calf roping and Breakaway Roping: In rodeos having less than 15 contestants the contestants may opt to enter 2 times. Their second head of stock must be in a different performance or slack. Incentive calf ropers con only enter incentive one time and their other run must be in the open calf roping. All monies won will count toward event points, but only the highest dollar amount will count toward the all around award. It is the contestant's responsibility to call the CES and request the enter two time option. The CES will not contact contestants. All contestants do not have to take the option.
*Dress Code: All persons in the rodeo arena one-half houre before performance or slack (contesting or not) must be in full western attire. Shirts must be long sleeved, button or snap front with a collar.
* 1 minute rule: All contestants must be set and ready to compete within one minute after name is called unless it is beyond their control (ie: stock not being ready)
